My wife and I have our chargers all in one surge protection strip that we can unplug when not in use. I had also heard that a computer, even when fully turned off still draws power. We haven't figured out how to configure the plugs to let us unplug when not in use. But we all know that plugging and unplugging, particularly in an office can be a real physical challenge. But it is good that we are all becoming aware of these small things that we can do to save energy.

Brad, you make an interesting point. Right now we are in a unique spot where the economy is improving and, as you point out, it's not driving rates up, but home prices still remain very attractive. It's an open door for buyers that won't stay open forever.
